Gabby is a 2009 senior graduating from Woodcreek High. We met Gabby last year when her parents brought her and her 2 beautiful sisters for some portraits. They were such a wonderful family to work with and we’re thrilled that Gabby is the oldest….that means we’ll get to see them at least 2 more times! We established such a great relationship with them, in fact, that the youngest Fastiggi sis is our girls’ new favorite sitter. Oh, and is it any surprise by looking at her portraits that Gabby was Homecoming Queen this year?? Way to go!

This seems to be our month for exciting publication news! We are super excited that we have an image featured in a bridal shoe ad in the current issue of Martha Stewart Weddings. The ad is shown below, and we think it turned out great! Thanks to Tamara, the genius behind Bliss Bridal Shoes based in Rocklin for asking us to work with her on this exciting project. Can anyone guess where this image was taken? That’s right–in our very own backyard! Baby L is one of our Bebe members, and he was an unbelievable joy to photograph! He was so good and looks just like a little cherub. We met the Stettlers in kind of an unconventional way, and I love it! Rich is a driver for UPS and filled in for our regular driver for a while last fall. He was at our house every day delivering all of our huge boxes from our lab and realized what these boxes were…photographs. He asked if we were photographers and then if he could have a card, as they just had their first baby. As they say, “the rest if history!” We’re so glad our regular driver was out for a while since it meant we had the privilege of meeting the Stettler family!
Those of you who live in South Placer County may have already seen this incredible free publication around town, the Family Life source book. It’s on stands where you would find the free parenting and lifestyle magazines and is chalk-full of great resources for families living in our area, from education to encrichment. We are so honored to have one of our images featured as the cover, as well as two additional images on the anchor pages inside! We really want to thank the McMurtry family of Loomis, whose awesome, fun family portrait is what made the cover. On the inside you’ll find Teagan getting her haircut at CJ’s Cuts 4 Kids in Roseville (our favorite kids hair salon!) leading off the Services section, and the Enrichment section of the magazine is led off by the “ballet feet” image, taken at Reilly’s ballet recital a few years ago. It really is THE NICEST free publication I’ve seen out there, so be sure to take a look if you see it!

We’ve been working with Sheree and Nguyen for a couple of years now, and this was the first family portrait since baby G was born. As you can tell by the leaves, they were here before Christmas (they used this family portrait for their holiday cards, which turned out so gorgeous!). Mr. C was quite the ham, as usual…it’s impossible for him to leave here without the cutest photographs! We always enjoy seeing this family so much, and can’t wait to see Miss G back for her next Bebe session!
