We had such an overwhelming response to our holiday special last year that we decided to bring it back again, on a very limited basis. These will be “express sessions” and therefore not suited to large, extended families or those of you who want our full-session experience. Our very own outdoor location in old Roseville is a rare find with beautiful fall leaves and works great with casual or dressy wardrobe, or our studio is at the same location and can be a great option as well! We are offering super special pricing on both print and digital collections in addition to our beautiful custom holiday cards. Don’t miss out on this special opportunity to make something beautiful out of 2021!!
As summer comes to a close and the beginning of the school year is fast approaching, we decided it was the perfect time to give you an alternative to the same old ho-hum school portraits of your kids. These school years fly by, even though sometimes the days seem never-ending and before you know it, your littles are all grown up. No matter how old, school-aged kids (and you!) deserve better portraits that will really capture who they are, at the age they are, and be beautiful enough to make you not want to switch them out every year!
This is exactly why we’ve decided to hold our back-to-school portrait event once again. We will photograph 2 different looks/backgrounds, one light/white and one darker/neutral. This will give you 2 completely different looks and also make clothing selection super easy. For the light look, white/cream is perfect (or lighter pastels) and for the darker look, dark clothing looks best (see examples below). Unlike school pictures, you will come back to the studio to see your images and be able to choose from a selection to order the images/sizes that work best for you (the best part–special pricing is available for this event!). Space is limited for these sessions, so please be sure to call today to reserve your spot. Don’t let another year pass by without an extra-ordinary portrait of your child.
Daddy & Me portraits are back again! Just like our recent Mommy & Me event, these portraits will be photographed on the neutral background shown below, so your clothing options are endless! We have chosen one of our favorite local charity organizations, Child Advocates of Placer County (CASA/ https://casaplacer.org )as the beneficiary of donations for this event, so please come out and help support the worthy cause of helping foster children and at-risk youth. Donations will be accepted via cash or check on the day of the event. Remember, this event isn’t just for dads with younger kids–dads, kids, and grandpas of all ages are welcome, and this is a great opportunity for a multi-generational portrait! (you may have various groupings–$20 donation per grouping/5×7). Prints will be available for pickup on Friday, June 21 and Saturday, June 22 from 11am-12pm (purchase digital images will be delivered Wed., June 12).
It’s the most exciting and magical time of year, and Santa will be back at our studio (151 N. Sunrise, #705 in Roseville, in the same lot as Outback Steakhouse and next to Quest Diagnostics) to help make dreams come true once again! We have added new VIP reserved Santa sittings on Thursday, November 29 from 10am-2pm. Spots are limited and will sell out quickly. Each sitting will have a 10-minute reserved spot (up to 4 children per family/spot) and includes a 5×7 print and single digital image file (sized for holiday cards) for $100 (required at time of booking). Toy donations are not required for these reserved sittings. You will still want to fill out the regular event registration form (link at the bottom), but you may reserve your spot HERE. Regardless of when you come, we will have our amazing elves helping to keep things running as smoothly as possible. One thing you can do to make things easier is pre-fill out your registration form and remember to print it and bring it with you to the event. A few very important things to remember: please don’t forget to include your email address and phone number, as we do email reminders about pickups, and sometimes have questions and need to reach you. Also, PLEASE print clearly if you fill out by hand, as we want to make sure we get all of your information correct! :-). You can find the registration form HERE.
We can never predict which day will be the busiest, but from our previous experience, the weekdays will be less busy, and last year Sunday was much busier than Saturday. The early morning hours also tend to be the busiest. We are always so grateful for everyone’s support of this great cause and patience!
As always, please bring a new, unwrapped toy (min. $20 value please) for each sitting/portrait with Santa (if you have multiple children but will have them sit together, only 1 toy is needed; if you would like each child photographed separately, then please bring 1 toy for each child/sitting). The toys will once again be donated to our local Toys 4 Tots chapter.
If you do not choose to have your print(s) mailed to you, they will be available for pickup at the studio Friday, Dec. 14 and Sat., Dec. 15 from 11am-1pm. If you are not able to come during those times, please be sure to select to have yours mailed. If you purchase a digital image file, they will be emailed by Thursday, Dec. 6. We can’t wait to see you for this special holiday tradition!
It’s that time of year again! We are excited to be partnering with the Placer Food Bank once again to collect non-perishable food items for those in need right here in our own community. Please share this information with your family and friends so we can make the biggest possible impact and fill the shelves of the food bank!
As a reminder, you will receive one 5×7 print for your minimum 5 can food donation per child (costumes required). No appointment is necessary, but the first 2 hours tend to be busiest, so if you have older children that don’t nap, the afternoon is a great time to come!
To keep the event running as smoothy as possible, we are once again offering online registration forms you can complete prior to the event. Please remember to print out your forms and bring them with you the day of the event. Please complete one form per child/group (if your children are only being photographed together, you will only need one form). If you choose to add on any prints or digital file options from the event, we will only be accepting cash or checks for this event. You can register online HERE.
Looking forward to seeing you and all of your little ghouls on Sunday, Oct. 21 between 10-2!

We know that so many moms are often the ones behind the camera and seldom get great images of them WITH their kids! This event makes sure that moms get a great photograph of themselves and their kids for a change! (and makes a great Father’s Day gift…:-). In addition to that, it serves a great purpose; 100% of your $20 donation will go to the Placer Breast Cancer Foundation, a local organization helping fund research to find a cure for breast cancer. This is also a great opportunity for grandmas/aunts/mom-figures to get in the mix; (you may have various groupings–$20 donation per grouping/5×7). This year we will be using this beautiful neutral background, which makes choosing wardrobe easy! Prints will be available for pickup on Friday, May 11 and Saturday, May 12 from 11am-12pm, just in time for Mother’s Day!
October is here, which means Costumes & Cans is just around the corner! For the 10th year, we are hosting this spook-tacular event to collect non-perishable food items for the Placer Food Bank, benefiting those in need right here in Placer County. All you need to do is bring your princesses, ghosts and goblins to our studio on Sunday, October 22 between the hours of 10am-2pm (no appointment needed), along with a minimum 5-can food donation per child (of course more is always welcome and appreciated!) and you will receive a 5×7 print of your adorable costume portrait. We will choose the best image and you will have the choice of picking up your print(s) at the studio Friday, Nov. 3 or Sat., Nov. 4 between 11am-1pm, or you may choose to have your print mailed to you for a $6 shipping fee (PLEASE choose the mailing option if you are not sure if you’ll be able to pick up during specified pick-up times, as we are only at the studio by appointment only).
We make every attempt to keep the event moving efficiently, and one way to make it easier is by filling out, printing and bringing your registration form to the event so you don’t have to fill out upon arrival. You can find the registration form HERE.
Can’t wait to see all of the fun costumes and hopefully break a record for our food donations to celebrate the 10th anniversary of this event! :-).
As summer comes to a close (although mother nature somehow didn’t get the memo!) and the beginning of the school year is fast approaching, we decided it was the perfect time to give you an alternative to the same old ho-hum school portraits of your kids. These school years fly by, even though sometimes the days seem never-ending (trust us–we now have a sophomore and 7th grader!!), and before you know it, your littles are all grown up. No matter how old, school-aged kids (and you!) deserve better portraits that will really capture who they are, at the age they are, and be beautiful enough to make you not want to switch them out every year! 🙂 This is exactly why we’ve decided to hold our first ever back-to-school portrait event. We will photograph 2 different looks/backgrounds, one light/white and one darker/neutral. This will give you 2 completely different looks and also make clothing selection super easy. For the light look, white/cream is perfect (or lighter pastels) and for the darker look, dark clothing looks best (see examples below). Finally, after one of the wettest winters in history, Spring has arrived! It has barely started to warm up and our days still seem to threaten rain at times, but the landscape in our region is bursting with spring color, begging to be the backdrop for your portraits. I honestly cannot remember a more beautiful spring season and would encourage those of you who traditionally wait until the Fall for family portraits to consider changing it up this year–you won’t be disappointed! Our Spring family and high school senior portrait sessions are filling quickly, and weekends even faster. We just wanted to drop a friendly reminder before the weather turns to yet another season (which will be here before we know it!) to schedule your Spring portraits before it’s too late.
