We know that so many moms are often the ones behind the camera, snapping the photos of their kids and families. This event makes sure that moms get a great photograph of themselves and their kids for a change! (and makes a great Father’s Day gift…:-). In addition to that, it serves a great purpose; 100% of your $20 donation will go to the Placer Breast Cancer Foundation, a local organization helping fund research to find a cure for breast cancer. This is also a great opportunity for grandmas to get in the mix! (you may have various groupings–$20 donation per grouping/5×7). This year we will be using this beautiful vintage green background, so dress accordingly! Prints will be available for pickup on Friday, May 12 and Saturday, May 13 from 11am-12pm, just in time for Mother’s Day!

Happy New Year!  Now that the holidays are over, we are so excited for our annual Vintage Valentine event.  We have added more beautiful wardrobe, accessories and furnishings to our already huge assortment. This year’s look revolves around soft white, cream, and pale pink with a large assortment of new dresses and tutus, along with beautiful new headpieces.  We also have a selection of adorable vests, bow ties and caps for boys to coordinate (please call to discuss available sizes for boys and girls).  As always, our wardrobe selection will include the colors palettes shown from prior years.  We will be offering beautiful custom Valentine cards and other newly designed offerings made to showcase your timeless portraits.  These sessions will fill quickly, so please call early to reserve your date/time.

We are pleased to announce the return of our Daddy & Me portrait charity event. The background for the event will be a lovely light blue (the same as this year’s Mommy & Me portraits, which would make for an adorable side-by-side!). Feel free to bring children of any age, and why not add in a grandfather or great-grandfather for a generations portrait? We welcome multiple setups for one group; you just will make a separate donation to one of our favorite charities, Child Advocates of Placer County (CASA), for each grouping. As with our other charity events, you will receive a 5×7 print of the best image, chosen by us (those who opt to pre-order a digital image file at the event will choose your favorite image on the spot). The prints will be available for pickup Friday, June 24 and Saturday, June 25 from 12-1pm. If a digital file is purchased, those will be delivered via email by Thursday, June 9. We are excited to be bringing this event back and hope to see you all there!

It’s that time of year again! The weather is starting to cool, football is back on, and Costumes & Cans is here again, this time in our new studio location (in same parking lot as Outback Steakhouse, next to Quest Diagnostics)!  We are excited to be partnering with the Placer Food Bank once again to collect non-perishable food items for those in need right here in our own community.  Please share this information with your family and friends so we can make the biggest possible impact and fill the shelves of the food bank!

As a reminder, you will receive one 5×7 print for your minimum 5 can food donation per child (costumes required). No appointment is necessary, but the first 2 hours tend to be busiest, so if you have older children that don’t nap, the afternoon is a great time to come!

To keep the event running as smoothy as possible, we are once again offering online registration forms you can complete prior to the event. Please remember to print out your forms and bring them with you the day of the event. Please complete one form per child/group (if your children are only being photographed together, you will only need one form).  If you choose to add on any prints or digital file options from the event, we will only be accepting cash or checks for this event.  You can register online HERE.

Hi again!  Thanks for continuing to check in with us on the blog, even though we’ve been a bit absent of late.  Big things happening at the studio (an impending location move is upon us!) that have been keeping us a bit preoccupied lately, along with enjoying this beautiful spring with our clients!  We are so fortunate to live in a place that has seasons, but with weather that’s not too crazy, thank goodness!  I love that we can photograph in similar locations all year long but get totally different looks, depending on what time of year it is.  Springtime brings with it green grasses and beautiful wild flowers (before things dry up and become what we like to call “summer amber”, not “dead” :-).  This session with the Schroeder family was one of those perfect spring sessions, and the fact that dad is my (Stef) cousin made it even more special.  We’ve been lucky enough to photograph them since they were expecting big brother B (even when they didn’t live locally!).  Love the relationship between these siblings and so grateful we get to call the Schroeders family!!

Thanks to all who came to our 7th annual Costumes & Cans event last weekend!  It is the most fun getting to see so many kid in their cute and creative costumes!  Thanks to all of you, we were able to donate enough food to the Placer Food Bank to provide 1,000 meals to those less fortunate in our area.  These are just a few of our favorite images from the day, but it’s definitely worth looking through all of the adorable images at our Enchanted Images Facebook page.  Enjoy!

It’s that time of year again!  We’re pleased to announce our 6th annual Costumes & Cans Halloween charity event.  We partner with the Placer Food Bank to collect canned food to help those in need in our community.  Last year we collected over 2,000 pounds of food thanks to all of you!!  You will receive one 5×7 print of your child for your minimum donation of 5 cans of food/child.  Prints will be available for pickup on Friday, November 7 between 11am-1pm and Saturday, November 8 between 11am-1pm  (if digital option is selected, files will be emailed by end of day Wed., October 29).  If you are not 100% sure you will be able to make the pickup dates/times, please choose to have your print mailed to you on the registration form!  Please remember that your child must be in costume to be photographed, as this is a costume portrait event.  The event does not require an appointment, but to make things flow smoothly, we have an online registration form you can fill out prior to coming to the event if you like (just saves you time when you arrive!); just don’t forget to print it out and bring it along, as we will not have copies.  You will need one form per child/photograph please.  Click here to fill out your online registration, and we look forward to seeing you and your little ghouls!
