Our 2010 highschool senior season has officially begun and is in full swing. We decided to give this division the attention it deserves and Enchanted Images is proud to present ENCHANTED SENIORS. Gabby is a 2009 senior graduating from Woodcreek High. We met Gabby last year when her parents brought her and her 2 beautiful sisters for some portraits. They were such a wonderful family to work with and we’re thrilled that Gabby is the oldest….that means we’ll get to see them at least 2 more times! We established such a great relationship with them, in fact, that the youngest Fastiggi sis is our girls’ new favorite sitter. Oh, and is it any surprise by looking at her portraits that Gabby was Homecoming Queen this year?? Way to go!

SPA time! SPA (Senior Portrait Artists) is an organization dedicated to the art of high school senior photography. For the last several years, they have held seminars/workshops in various locations. This year we are at the Red Rock Hotel in Las Vegas and what a cool place this is! Great people, great fun, and such a valuable experience.
Here are a few images I made with some of the yummy looking models SPA brought along. By the way, these models were chosen from a nationwide contest held by SPA that we will be a part of this year. We will provide more details later, but if any of you class of 2010 girls and guys think you have what it takes to be a top model, stay tuned! We will be provide the details of the contest soon.
When Stef and I met with Shelby to discuss the design and look of her senior portraits, we were thrilled by her ideas. She was going for a vintage-y glamour look and I think she nailed it. Shelby is a dancer and knew how to take the stage…even if it was in front of a camera. Her look, her style and her attitude all came together and helped make some wonderful images. Great, great time.
Stef, the girls and I had the privilege of seeing Shelby perform in the “Rhythms of Christmas” show at Whitney High School. It was a show filled with singing, LOTS of tap dancing, and even a Radio City finale that nearly brought the house down. This was the final show of the season and would be Shelby’s last performance of it as a senior.
Wow. I’m not sure what I was expecting but the show blew me away. What a treat to see that much young (and old!) talent all on one stage. Thanks Shelby and Amy for inviting us, we all loved it! Best of luck in New York!
Meet Katie, class of 09. We first met her when her family came to us for portraits a while back, and talked with us about her senior portraits. It was a perfect day for them and we took a walk around the neighborhood looking for interesting places and lovely light. We found both! Wish I could take credit for the tree but that was all Katie…thanks for not falling! Here are some of my faves.
It’s that time again! Summer is in full swing and is a great time to start planning high school senior photographs. We know we’ve had a lot of families and wee ones lately so here is a little taste of some of our senior work. Enjoy!

Senior season began early this year with a session with another member from the family of cool. Anthony was actually scheduled with us earlier but the poor guy got tagged in the face with a baseball…ouch!
All healed up now, he had me (Stef sat this one out) meet him at the Powerhouse park in Folsom. This place is just full of interesting nooks and crannies for great photographs, and I think I stuffed Anthony in about all of them. He was up for it all, and we had a really good time. His younger sis got to be a lighting assistant/fashion editor for the day, more on her later… Thanks B!

When Brittany arrived with her mom and showed us this dress, we knew we were in for something special. Sure there are other photographs with different outfits, but Stef and I just thought these were…wow.
We have been making this young woman’s portraits for a few years now and as always, she lit it up. Thanks Brittany for continuing to inspire us, and for letting us capture this time in your life.
