We met the Renzullo family a few years back when big sis was just about the same age baby brother is now. Miss O is just as gorgeous as she was then, with eyelashes to create envy among those of us who can only dream…Well, the family came back to capture little brother at the same age as well as an updated family portrait, and we were so happy to see them again! The kids were amazing in front of the camera, and my favorite image was the one here of little N with his thumb in his mouth…it doesn’t get any sweeter than that!

Boy did we ever see a lot of bumps today, and I don’t mean speed-bumps! We participated in the 1st ever Babies and Bumps event in Roseville today, and I have never seen so many preggos in one place at one time! In all fairness, there were a ton of families with babies, too, and it was so incredible to see such an awesome turnout. Just another reason why I love living in Roseville–people love their babies and bumps around here! This was the first expo booth we’ve ever done, and we’re pretty excited with how our vision turned into reality (thanks in part to getting up at 5am…and the rental truck it took to haul everything!). We met so many great people and were thrilled to see familiar faces, too. Thanks to all of you who came out to say hi, and a special thanks to the devoted sister who came out to represent her sister, who is one of our awesome clients from the Bay Area—you know who you are—you guys are the best! 🙂 You’ll notice that Reilly and Teagan even got to participate in this one…they both modeled adorable outfits from the Silver Spoon in the fashion show. Super fun day, and the face painting made our girls’ weekend!

We met the Conklin’s late last fall (as if the leaves don’t give it away!), thanks to the Bollinger family (their neighbors). I will admit that I was nervous before we met them about how the family stuff would go, given the very young ages of their kiddos. Well, I was happily proven wrong once again! We were literally in shock at how amazing these little ones did. Another fun outcome from this session pertains specifically to the image of little Miss O holding the leaf–James entered it into local print competition and received a merit score (that’s a good thing, for you non-photogs!). Loved, loved, loved this session and the family!

We photographed the Goering/Shirhall extended family right after Thanksgiving(um…yeah, we are really behind on blogging!), when they had come together from all over California to celebrate and, as a bonus, be photographed together. We have to thank Terri for organizing this extended group and doing such a great job on everyone’s clothing coordination. They were a fun family willing to follow us around to what may have seemed like odd places to be photographed…and it resulted in some fun images! Not shown here was a family dog that was present for some of the individual family portraits…posed like a champ! Don and Jean, you have much to be proud of in your beautiful family.

We’ve been working with Sheree and Nguyen for a couple of years now, and this was the first family portrait since baby G was born. As you can tell by the leaves, they were here before Christmas (they used this family portrait for their holiday cards, which turned out so gorgeous!). Mr. C was quite the ham, as usual…it’s impossible for him to leave here without the cutest photographs! We always enjoy seeing this family so much, and can’t wait to see Miss G back for her next Bebe session!

The Morell family was another one of our pre-holiday sessions (we’re still trying to catch up from all the holiday season craziness on the blog!) full of fun. Kerstin’s sister came to us last year, so she figured it was time for her family to visit the Enchanted studio, too. A fun treat was that Kerstin brought her 90-year old grandpa, Woody, to come to the session and be included in a few portraits. He was an amazingly witty and fun guy! They all seemed to have a good time in front of the camera, but holy cow did Miss S show us her stuff!! Thanks for the fun and the perfect wall measurements & diagrams! 🙂

As you can see, the DuPont family was here back when the leaves were still on the trees; now these lovely leaves are just clogging our rain gutters! Christine’s main goal was a family portrait, as they had never had one since their 4-year old twins were born. She was so excited about this session, and then the unthinkable happened–one of the twins, Miss D, developed a sty in her eye 2 days before their session! After much discussion and debate, it was finally decided the morning of the session that D’s eye had improved enough to make a go of it. So glad we did, because you couldn’t even tell, and that was probably the last chance they had to get these beautiful fall leaves in the portraits.

Thanksgiving weekend we met the lovely family you see here. We have worked with one of the 4 Henderson daughters and her family for several years, and Emily was nice enough to arrange for her whole extended family to get together for group portraits. We met out at William Land Park, as that’s where the Henderson’s raised their kids and still live today. We were lucky beyond belief with the amazing weather and gorgeous fall leaves for this very late November day. It’s always fun to meet the extended families of our clients, and this was no exception. They were all fun, wonderful people and Sue and Marty have much to be proud of in their beautiful daughters. Thanks for letting us capture this moment in time!

We met the Falco family before the holidays thanks to the Newsom family who referred them. Deb called and knew exactly what she wanted and was very specific that the session needed to be short and sweet, as she felt her loving hubby and kiddos weren’t exactly thrilled at the task ahead of them. Well, they weren’t such tough nuts to crack after all, and Deb said it best in an email to us that read: “My family had a great time taking pix yesterday, a first for the Falcos! They unanimously said that anytime we take family pix they want to go back to you.” Thanks for the awesome compliment, Falco family! We had a blast!

Gladys called from a contact at our friends at the Silver Spoon and was very excited about having portraits made. So were we! And just look at these kids, they were really into it. What a gorgeous family! Thanks again for the cookies Gladys, we enjoyed them.
