We know that so many moms are often the ones behind the camera and seldom get great images of them WITH their kids! This event makes sure that moms get a great photograph of themselves and their kids for a change! (and makes a great Father’s Day gift…:-). In addition to that, it serves a great purpose; 100% of your $20 donation will go to the Placer Breast Cancer Foundation, a local organization helping fund research to find a cure for breast cancer. This is also a great opportunity for grandmas/aunts/mom-figures to get in the mix; (you may have various groupings–$20 donation per grouping/5×7). This year we will be using this beautiful neutral background, which makes choosing wardrobe easy! Prints will be available for pickup on Friday, May 11 and Saturday, May 12 from 11am-12pm, just in time for Mother’s Day!
It’s the most exciting and magical time of year, and Santa will be back at our studio (151 N. Sunrise, #705 in Roseville, in the same lot as Outback Steakhouse and next to Quest Diagnostics) to help make dreams come true once again! We have added 3 hours on Friday again this year, so those of you who are able to come that day, I’m sure it will be a little less busy than the weekend days. Regardless of when you come, we will have our amazing elves helping to keep things running as smoothly as possible. One thing you can do to make things easier is pre-fill out your registration form and remember to print it and bring it with you to the event. A few very important things to remember: please don’t forget to include your email address and phone number, as we do email reminders about pickups, and sometimes have questions and need to reach you. Also, PLEASE print clearly if you fill out by hand, as we want to make sure we get all of your information correct! :-). You can find the registration form HERE.
As always, please bring a new, unwrapped toy (min. $20 value please) for each sitting/portrait with Santa (if you have multiple children but will have them sit together, only 1 toy is needed; if you would like each child photographed separately, then please bring 1 toy for each child/sitting). The toys will once again be donated to our local Toys 4 Tots chapter.
If you do not choose to have your print(s) mailed to you, they will be available for pickup at the studio Friday, Dec. 16 and Sat., Dec. 17 from 11am-1pm. If you are not able to come during those times, please be sure to select to have yours mailed. If you purchase a digital image file, they will be emailed by Wednesday, Dec. 7. We can’t wait to see you for this special holiday tradition!
It is with heartfelt gratitude we want to thank our community and clients for voting and naming us Favorite Family Photographer in the Roseville/Rocklin/Granite Bay Style Magazine! This is not an honor we take lightly, as we didn’t even realize the voting was taking place until we received the email notifying us we had won. We feel so fortunate to be able to create heirloom portraits for many families in our community, and more blessed by the relationships we establish with so many of you. We watch families grow and change over the years, see children grow up, and in some cases, become acutely aware of how priceless these portraits become when life can take unfortunate turns. Don’t wait for the “perfect time” to take your family portrait–those 5 pounds you want to lose or when life become less hectic; there is no more perfect time than the present to capture this precious time in life. Don’t look for the “best deal” you can find; invest in quality and the confidence in knowing you will have a family portrait you will love and that will stand the test of time. We look forward to many more years of preserving the memories for the wonderful families in our community! Thank you again for this honor!
We are pleased to announce the return of our Daddy & Me portrait charity event. The background for the event will be a lovely light blue (the same as this year’s Mommy & Me portraits, which would make for an adorable side-by-side!). Feel free to bring children of any age, and why not add in a grandfather or great-grandfather for a generations portrait? We welcome multiple setups for one group; you just will make a separate donation to one of our favorite charities, Child Advocates of Placer County (CASA), for each grouping. As with our other charity events, you will receive a 5×7 print of the best image, chosen by us (those who opt to pre-order a digital image file at the event will choose your favorite image on the spot). The prints will be available for pickup Friday, June 24 and Saturday, June 25 from 12-1pm. If a digital file is purchased, those will be delivered via email by Thursday, June 9. We are excited to be bringing this event back and hope to see you all there!

Hi again! Thanks for continuing to check in with us on the blog, even though we’ve been a bit absent of late. Big things happening at the studio (an impending location move is upon us!) that have been keeping us a bit preoccupied lately, along with enjoying this beautiful spring with our clients! We are so fortunate to live in a place that has seasons, but with weather that’s not too crazy, thank goodness! I love that we can photograph in similar locations all year long but get totally different looks, depending on what time of year it is. Springtime brings with it green grasses and beautiful wild flowers (before things dry up and become what we like to call “summer amber”, not “dead” :-). This session with the Schroeder family was one of those perfect spring sessions, and the fact that dad is my (Stef) cousin made it even more special. We’ve been lucky enough to photograph them since they were expecting big brother B (even when they didn’t live locally!). Love the relationship between these siblings and so grateful we get to call the Schroeders family!!
