Meet Nicole.

Nicole had a special look in mind for her senior portraits and I was totally on board.  Day of the session, the weather was fantastic and everything that could have gone right…did.  Perfect wardrobe, and Nicole was wonderful in front of the lens.  She even braved the pond, pollywogs and all.  Thank you Nicole for the adventure.

Meet Savannah.  We decided on Old Sacramento as the location for Savannah’s senior portraits, a perfect setting for her diverse wardrobe.  As we wandered the streets and alley ways, we both found all kinds of interesting places to make photos.  Brick, ivy, twinkle lights, old buildings…it was almost distractingly beautiful.  Savannah was great at blending in with the environment & mood, and was perfectly comfortable in front of the lens.  Thanks for such a wonderful day!  Here are some faves.

Dreaming of an Enchanted location for your senior portrait session?  Your dream may be coming true!  Enchanted Images is excited to offer exclusive sessions for 2013 seniors at Preston Castle on September 21st.

This amazing structure was built in 1890 and is rich with history, both natural and paranormal…  For many years the castle sat abandoned with portions exposed to the elements, and the years of neglect contributed to its current state of “beautiful decay”.  It is a hauntingly gorgeous place for photographs and we are looking for seniors eager to make their portrait session something incredibly unique.

Wardrobe is important for castle sessions, the more romantic/cinematic the better.  This is not a place for t-shirts and jeans…you are limited only by your imagination!  Only two sessions are available for this unique opportunity, please inquire soon.

Meet Breanna, class of 2012.  This was a rather interesting session in that it was our first near injury caused by wardrobe.  Seniors take note, when borrowing shoes for your senior portraits, make sure they are not two sizes smaller than yours…

Those lovely boots Breanna brought were, well, a bit snug.  We got to the alley, and in a very short time I noticed her face was a bit pale and she had to sit down.  I looked down at the tight leather on her calves and said “We’ve got to get these boots off!”  Two minutes later all was well, the color came back to Breanna’s face and…I got the shot!!

Despite this slight distraction, she really brought it to the session, wonderful expressions and acted like she had been shooting for years.  Thank you Breanna for your your willingness to experiment and all your efforts.

Meet Brittany & Brandon – class of 2012. It’s not very often we photograph twins in our studio…let alone high school senior twins!  When Brittany & Brandon came to us last July(yes, we are incredibly tardy on our blogging…) I knew this session was going to be a special treat.  This was the first time I photographed a brother and sister at the same time for their senior portrait session.  Brittany took the reigns of course and had all kinds of ideas with wardrobe and location.  Brandon was a great sport and showed us some looks for some very cool images.  Thank you both for a wonderful afternoon, and thank you Brittany for braving the cold water for a great shot.  Some faves.

Meet Samantha – class of 2012.  We have been photographing Samantha and her sisters for a few years now, but this time we got to see a little different side of her personality.  Mom and Stephanie(younger sister) came to help out, but it the show was all Samantha’s for sure.  I love it when seniors are uninhibited and completely comfortable as she was.  Most of the time I might as well have been invisible, Samantha seemed to just be in her own world…perfect!  And again, great wardrobe and makeup…made for a great session!  Some faves.

Meet Kayla – class of 2012.  I just love it when seniors bring ideas.  I love it more when mom (Lisa) brings the bicycle and fresh flowers to her daughters session!  This was a special day for sure.  We didn’t talk about this idea at Kayla’s design consultation so this look was a nice surprise and it worked really well.  The light was gorgeous that day and so was Kayla.  We started in the studio with that lovely sparkly top, then it was off to the neighborhood to chase some light.  Thank you Kayla and Lisa for such a great experience, I really had a wonderful time.

Meet Casey.  The weather couldn’t have been better to compliment the lovely looks Casey brought.  And again, mom was just as excited about the session as Casey.  A team effort for sure.

And then there was the floppy hat…

I think that was her mom’s idea but Casey may argue…   Either way it made a beautiful addition to her session and she modeled it well.

Meet Rheanna.  If you have spent any time on our senior website, you might notice I love photographing dancers.  Not necessarily “dancing” photos, but I love incorporating dance elements in different environments.  Also, dancers seem to handle themselves wonderfully in front of the camera.  Rheanna was no exception.  She also had a perfect pairing of wardrobe and accessories.

We started with some dreamy looks in the studio then went out to dance in the fields.  Thank you Rheanna for the adventure!
