Some photos from Teagan’s birthday party at Wacky Tacky. If you haven’t been, think McDonald’s playground on steroids. The girls (and boys) went crazy for about an hour then replenished the spent calories with some pizza and cupcakes. Miss T loved being the star and the center of attention. Hmmm….reminds me of someone…
Stef agrees.

First, I will apologize for our lame-ness and lack of blogging this past week. It was a super busy week with several major projects going on, including but not limited to my (Stef) sister’s surprise 40th birthday party and our Mommy & Me Portraits for the Cure event on Saturday at the Silver Spoon (stay tuned for more on that–it was great!). So, we promise to blog more this week (and if we don’t, blame it on James! :-).
Now on to the real point of this post…showing off the lovely Yow family! We met Miss A almost a year ago now and have since had the pleasure of watching her grow over the course of her first year and four sessions (and they came from San Jose every time!). I’m sad to say that A has graduated from her first year sessions so we won’t see her as often, so I’m hoping for another baby Yow to keep that trend going! We just loved spending this past year with you guys, and thanks so much for always making it so fun…you’re good peeps!

We met the Hoffman family a little over 3 years ago, when big sis S was about the same age little miss G is now. It was crazy to see S all grown up, who I remember looking just like her baby sister. We were so excited to get to see the Hoffman’s again, as they’re just warm, fuzzy people that we love to be around (must run in the family–we love Stephanie’s sister, too!). Big sis obviously gave miss G pointers on what to do at her first photo session with us, because she was amazing, just like Miss S three years ago! Thanks for making our job so fun girls!

When I first talked on the phone with Melissa about her maternity portraits, I knew we were in for something fun when she mentioned the idea of bringing her firefighter husband’s turnouts to wear for some of her photographs. Well, even my greatest expectations were exceeded when we actually met the Beard’s and found out how fun (and gorgeous!) they are! They were both up for anything and were awesome in front of the camera. They even brought their 1st baby (a beautiful black lab) for some outdoor family shots. Can’t wait to meet their baby boy in a few weeks!

Miss T turns four today. How this little ball of fun turned into this…big..ball of fun, I can hardly remember. Everyone says it, but it is just crazy how fast time flies by with kids. Happy birthday Teagan! p.s. save me a donut.
p.p.s. Umm…Teagan? I think your buns were bigger in your 6 month photo than they are now!

Young Mr. Stettler is one of the most strapping young lads we’ve seen! He has the most unique features I think I’ve ever seen on a baby. This was his second of three Bebe sessions, and it was just as easy this time as the first to capture great expressions from him. The only bad thing–makes it really difficult for us to choose from all of his adorable images!

Miss N graced us with her sweet face shortly after she learned to sit up all by herself. Some babies are all smiles right away, and then some are like N, who like to observe everything with a quiet seriousness before she decides if she likes you enough to smile at you. Now don’t misunderstand–she is a content and happy baby; she just needed some time to size us up. Well, much to our relief, she decided we were o.k. and gave us some of the sweetest looks ever! Thanks to mom and dad, who also decided to smile at us! 🙂

I am a metal fan. So much I’m printing senior portraits on it. And if that’s not cool enough, we are offering senior portraits on acrylic! Check out these beauties. We are proud to offer fine art metal and acrylic for your favorite images. Talk about a statement…the fine art metal prints can be made up to four feet tall! Here are the first few off the presses.

We’re super excited to announce our upcoming event at the Silver Spoon Children’s Boutique! On Saturday, May 16 we’ll be at their store from 10am-1pm photographing moms and their kiddos to raise money for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation. We hope that all of you will come out in support of breast cancer research and get a cute mom & me portrait while you’re at it! We’ll be “thinking pink” that day and photographing on a pink background, so be sure to plan your clothing accordingly (don’t worry–if pink isn’t your thing you can choose the black & white option!). No appointment is necessary, so come on out and and get photographed for the cure!
About five minutes in to our design consultation with Sydney for her senior portraits, I knew this was going to be interesting. We discussed several locations and then she mentioned a tomb.
Insert record scratch sound.
Yes, that will be fine.
Couldn’t have asked for better circumstances. Beautiful light, beautiful Sydney, and a really cool location!
Thank you Sydney for being so adventurous and sorry I didn’t tell you about the spiders nest…until after I got the shot.
