We had such an overwhelming response to our holiday special last year that we decided to bring it back again, on a very limited basis. These will be “express sessions” and therefore not suited to large, extended families or those of you who want our full-session experience. Our very own outdoor location in old Roseville is a rare find with beautiful fall leaves and works great with casual or dressy wardrobe, or our studio is at the same location and can be a great option as well! We are offering super special pricing on both print and digital collections in addition to our beautiful custom holiday cards. Don’t miss out on this special opportunity to make something beautiful out of 2021!!
We are SO EXCITED to be partnering with Precision Dance Center in Roseville again for both our costume and Santa event this year–thank you does not express our gratitude to PCD!
The Placer Food Bank is still not currently accepting food donations from the public. As such, we will be collecting a $20 donation (cash or check only) for the Placer Food Bank, per grouping. If you have multiple children and would like them all photographed together, your $20 donation will get you a 5×7 print. If you prefer a separate print of each child, you will simply donate $20/child for separate 5×7 prints. Please be advised we are only able to accept cash or checks to the Placer Food Bank for their donations (we can accept other forms of payment for any optional print or digital add-ons). Prints will be available for pickup at Precision Dance Center on Friday, Nov. 5 and Saturday, Nov. 6 between 11am-1pm. If you are unable to pick up your prints during those times, you may select to have them mailed to you for $7. To make things easier for you when you arrive, please fill out and print and bring along the email confirmation of our online registration form, which can be found HERE.
Can’t wait to see you on October 24th!
If there ever was a year to celebrate kids going back to school, 2021 is it! We are offering very special mini-sessions just for kids so you don’t have to settle for the same old school portraits. You may choose from either a studio session or an outdoor session at our central Roseville location (shown below). Please call us with questions, to schedule a session, and to get some great wardrobe advice–can’t wait to see those smiling faces!
Happy New Year! Now that the holidays are over, we are so excited for our annual Vintage Valentine event. For those of you who avoid portrait sessions simply because figuring out the wardrobe is too overwhelming, look no further! The BEST part of these exclusive mini-sessions is that we provide all of the custom-designed wardrobe and accessories (boys must bring their own pants) and all you have to do is show up for your appointment. We have added more beautiful wardrobe, accessories and furnishings to our already huge assortment. This year’s look revolves around soft pinks, white and cream with a large assortment of gorgeous new gowns. We also have a selection of adorable vests, bow ties and caps for boys to coordinate (please call to discuss available sizes for boys and girls–we can typically outfit up to young teen girls and boys up to size 12). As always, our wardrobe selection will include the colors palettes shown from prior years (babies must be old enough to sit on their own for these sessions). We will be offering beautiful custom Valentine cards and other newly designed offerings made to showcase your timeless portraits. These sessions will fill quickly, so please call early to reserve your date/time and discuss details. Due to Covid we are scheduling sessions further apart and following mask protocols for the adults. We want everyone to stay safe and healthy, so we ask that you please not bring kids with any cold or flu symptoms–we can always reschedule!
2020 has thrown everyone for a loop, but Santa won’t give up or give in to the craziness! We are THRILLED to announce that our Santa portrait event is happening this year, despite the MANY challenges thrown our way. First, our event location this year is at Precision Dance Center in Roseville, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their generosity for co-hosting this event. Most important is that Santa himself is 100% committed to making all of your children’s Christmas wishes come true. Santa will stand behind his chair/your children this year but will also be happy to do a traditional “sitting” if you prefer. We have hosted this event for over a decade and thanks to all of you, have donated THOUSANDS of toys to Toys 4 Tots. Due to Covid 19 restrictions this year, we have had to make some changes to the structure of the event in order to still make it happen. As such, all sittings must be BY APPOINTMENT ONLY–we cannot have large crowds gathering and must comply with social distancing and mask requirements while waiting for your sitting. Each Santa sitting reservation will include a digital image file (sized for holiday cards, emailed to you by end of day Dec. 10). If you choose to bring a new, unwrapped toy donation (which we hope you do!), you will also receive a 5×7 print of your image (but this is not required).
Once you make your reservation, we will then be sending out emails to everyone with a separate registration form, where you can give us your kiddos’ names and let us know if you would like to add any images, prints, or have prints mailed to you.
We know this is a LOT of new information this year–sorry about that!! Please feel free to contact us with questions, and you can RESERVE YOUR SANTA SITTING HERE.
2020 has been a crazy year, and we’ve decided to stick with that theme and for the first time ever (and maybe the only time ever!), we are offering an outdoor holiday family portrait special! These will be “express sessions” and therefore not suited to large, extended families or those of you who want our full-session experience. Our very own outdoor location in old Roseville is a rare find with beautiful fall leaves and works great with casual or dressy wardrobe. We are offering super special pricing on both print and digital collections in addition to our beautiful custom holiday cards. Don’t miss out on this special opportunity to make something beautiful out of 2020!!
Our apologies for the late notice on this fun event, but since we are in between commercial studio spaces, we weren’t even sure if we would be able to hold it this year. We are SO EXCITED to be partnering with Precision Dance Center in Roseville for both our costume and Santa event this year–thank you does not express our gratitude to PCD! As with most everything in this time of Covid, our events will have to look a little different this time around, but we figured an “altered” event was better than no event, as so many of you have reached out over the past couple of months expressing your sincere desires to be able to maintain these traditions.
This first and most noticeable thing that is different this year is the “Cans” part of Costumes & Cans. Due to Covid, the Placer Food Bank is not currently accepting food donations from the public. 6 and Saturday, Nov. 7 between 11am-1pm. If you are unable to pick up your prints during those times, you may select to have them mailed to you for $7. To make things easier for you when you arrive, please fill out and print the email confirmation of our online registration form, which can be found HERE.
In order to keep this event safe for everyone, we will ask that everyone wear a mask (of course they can be removed for the portraits!) and maintain a proper social distance from those not in your family. We will only allow a very limited number at a time inside the studio, but there will be plenty of room for people to wait outside. We will also be following the studio’s protocols of taking each person’s temperature prior to entering their studio. We know these very small things will be worth doing to ensure we are able to offer this event, and so appreciate everyone who supports this great cause! Please feel free to contact us at 916.759.8140 if you have any questions at all! Can’t wait to see everyone on the 25th–we’ve missed you all!
While everything about going back to school this year looks different, your back to school portraits should still be spectacular and a great reminder of a little slice of normalcy. We have decided to offer 2 different options this year to give more flexibility and meet everyone’s comfort level. We will be practicing all of the social distancing guidelines and safety protocols and have no overlap between appointments in order to keep distance and separation between clients. In other words, no need to worry–we’ve got you and your kids’ well-being covered! The August 15/16 dates will be specifically dedicated to studio sessions, and the outdoor sessions will be August 28/29 at our central Roseville outdoor setting, near Roseville High School. When you call to schedule we will also chat about wardrobe suggestions. Looking forward to seeing all of those smiling faces!!

It’s the most exciting and magical time of year, and Santa will be back at our studio (151 N. Sunrise, #705 in Roseville, in the same lot as Outback Steakhouse and next to Quest Diagnostics) to help make dreams come true once again! We have our VIP reserved Santa sittings on Thursday, December 5 from 10am-3pm. Spots are limited and will sell out quickly. Each sitting will have a reserved spot (up to 4 children per family/spot) and includes a 5×7 print and single digital image file (sized for holiday cards) for $100 (required at time of booking). Toy donations are not required for these reserved sittings. You will still want to fill out the regular event registration form (link at the bottom), but you may reserve your spot HERE. Regardless of when you come, we will have our amazing elves helping to keep things running as smoothly as possible. One thing you can do to make things easier is pre-fill out your registration form and remember to print it and bring it with you to the event. A few very important things to remember: please don’t forget to include your email address and phone number, as we do email reminders about pickups, and sometimes have questions and need to reach you. Also, PLEASE print clearly if you fill out by hand, as we want to make sure we get all of your information correct! :-). You can find the registration form HERE.
We can never predict which day will be the busiest, but from our previous experience, the weekdays will be less busy. The early morning hours also tend to be the busiest. We are always so grateful for everyone’s support of this great cause and patience!
As always, please bring a new, unwrapped toy (min. $20 value please) for each sitting/portrait with Santa (if you have multiple children but will have them sit together, only 1 toy is needed; if you would like each child photographed separately, then please bring 1 toy for each child/sitting). The toys will once again be donated to our local Toys 4 Tots chapter.
If you do not choose to have your print(s) mailed to you, they will be available for pickup at the studio Friday, Dec. 20 and Sat., Dec. 21 from 11am-1pm. If you are not able to come during those times, please be sure to select to have yours mailed (the studio will be closed Dec. 22-Dec.29 and mailed prints will most likely not be mailed until after Dec.29). If you purchase a digital image file, they will be emailed by Wednesday, Dec. 11. We can’t wait to see you for this special holiday tradition!
