Meet our class of 2014 senior spokesmodels! Each year we choose a select few incoming seniors to represent our studio to their school/circle of friends. Class of 2014, NOW is the time to book your senior session. As we only do a limited number of senior sessions each year, sessions with a special offer are even more rare. The only way to receive your senior session special offer is through one of these spokesmodels. The earlier you book, the better the offer! Meet Laurel. During her design consultation, Laurel was pretty specific about the looks she was going for. She also said she might be shy in front of the camera but if she was, she fooled us all. Light, soft, and floating were the themes of this shoot and she nailed it on all fronts. Great job Laurel!
Reilly and I spent the last couple of days in Santa Cruz, Monterey and Carmel with her church group. It was a whirlwind trip and we crammed a lot in a very short time. The weather was perfect and the skies were crazy blue which made for some cool black & white photos. Here a a few faves.
We’ve been photographing the Ferrell family long enough to know that it’s always going to be a fashion treat whenever we see them, and their last family session was no exception! The session was also for Miss V’s 2-year portraits, so she got a special wardrobe change. We couldn’t help but grab a few of big sis while she was changing, and those turned out to be some of our favorites from the day. The boys were just so happy to get a chance to run around that they had no time to help James with his “light tests”, wink, wink…:-). We are so honored to have become the Ferrell’s family photographer, and each time we’re with them we’re reminded of the most important part of what we do–the wonderful people we get to know!
We are so excited to announce our relationship with the new owner of SWAK clothing boutique at the Fountains in Roseville! Jodi, the new owner, is wonderful and so on fire to bring beautiful and unique fashion & accessories to women of all ages. If you haven’t been to SWAK or it’s been a while, it’s definitely worth a visit. Soon you will also be able to see some of our images on display there (featuring SWAK clothing, of course!). Also, be sure to mark your calendars for Friday, June 28. SWAK will be hosting a re-grand opening party, featuring appetizers from various restaurants in the Fountains, beverages, giveaways, AND….Enchanted Images will be there offering fun, fashionable new profile photos for all of your social networking needs! Many of you have been asking when we would be doing another Ladies’ Night Out, and this is it! There will also be makeup artists on hand for touch-ups to get you camera-ready. The cost, you ask? It’s absolutely free! The party will start at 7pm, but SWAK VIP’s only will have exclusive entrance from 7:00-8:30pm. After that, it’s open to the public. All you have to do to become a SWAK VIP is go visit the store before the 28th and join their VIP list (no cost, no catch–I promise). If you have previously been a SWAK VIP, be sure to go in and make sure you’re on the new list, since ownership has changed. Can’t wait to see you there!

We thought that as the mercury rises it would help us all cool off to see images from a much cooler time of year, when sweaters and jeans are in order! (ahhh…we can always dream…Sacramento folks, just remember how great the Fall is here when the temperature rises to 107 this weekend!!). Just call this “throwback Tuesday!”
This session with the Zander family was the conclusion of their second Bebe Collection, this time with Miss C. We went to one of our favorite nature locations, which I love because it looks different all throughout the year, depending on the season. Mom (Heather) always does such a great job bringing a variety of hats and hair accessories, and even one for herself this time! It has been such a treat watching this family grow, all the way from their first maternity session. Did I mention that Dr. Zander is also our dentist? Not only are we fortunate for them to share their beautiful family with us, but he also keeps mine and James’ teeth healthy! 🙂 Meet the Zander family, again:
Meet Tiffany. When Anna(mom) and Tiffany came to their design consultation, I knew they would be game for some lovely fun. We decided to pair Tiffany’s wonderful wardrobe with images made in our studio and a location. She was great about changing expressions, everything from whimsical & fragile, to elegant & romantic. Linda decided for a downtown look for her senior pictures. It was a great day and fabulous light was bouncing around everywhere. Her dresses were lovely!
Photographing the wonderful Dawson family was a treat, in so many ways; so sweet to see three little girls doting on their baby brother; so breathtaking to watch two loving parents adore their 4th baby as if he was their first; so fun to see a family full of girls welcome a boy! I can’t say enough about how lovely, caring, and genuine the Dawson family is. They (and all of our wonderful clients!) are the reason why we love our job and count our blessings each and every day.
