Happy New Year!  Now that the holidays are over, we are so excited for our annual Vintage Valentine event.  We have added more beautiful wardrobe, accessories and furnishings to our already huge assortment. This year’s look revolves around vintage peach, cream, and pale mint greens with a large assortment of new dresses and tutus, along with beautiful new headpieces.  We also have a selection of adorable vests, bow ties and caps for boys to coordinate (please call to discuss available sizes for boys and girls).  As always, our wardrobe selection will include the colors palettes shown from prior years (babies must be old enough to sit on their own for these sessions).  We will be offering beautiful custom Valentine cards and other newly designed offerings made to showcase your timeless portraits.  These sessions will fill quickly, so please call early to reserve your date/time.

It’s the most exciting and magical time of year, and Santa will be back at our studio (151 N. Sunrise, #705 in Roseville, in the same lot as Outback Steakhouse and next to Quest Diagnostics) to help make dreams come true once again! We have added 3 hours on Friday again this year, so those of you who are able to come that day, I’m sure it will be a little less busy than the weekend days. Regardless of when you come, we will have our amazing elves helping to keep things running as smoothly as possible. One thing you can do to make things easier is pre-fill out your registration form and remember to print it and bring it with you to the event. A few very important things to remember: please don’t forget to include your email address and phone number, as we do email reminders about pickups, and sometimes have questions and need to reach you. Also, PLEASE print clearly if you fill out by hand, as we want to make sure we get all of your information correct! :-). You can find the registration form HERE.

As always, please bring a new, unwrapped toy (min. $20 value please) for each sitting/portrait with Santa (if you have multiple children but will have them sit together, only 1 toy is needed; if you would like each child photographed separately, then please bring 1 toy for each child/sitting). The toys will once again be donated to our local Toys 4 Tots chapter.

If you do not choose to have your print(s) mailed to you, they will be available for pickup at the studio Friday, Dec. 15 and Sat., Dec. 16 from 11am-1pm. If you are not able to come during those times, please be sure to select to have yours mailed. If you purchase a digital image file, they will be emailed by Wednesday, Dec. 6.  We can’t wait to see you for this special holiday tradition!

As summer comes to a close (although mother nature somehow didn’t get the memo!) and the beginning of the school year is fast approaching, we decided it was the perfect time to give you an alternative to the same old ho-hum school portraits of your kids. These school years fly by, even though sometimes the days seem never-ending (trust us–we now have a sophomore and 7th grader!!), and before you know it, your littles are all grown up. No matter how old, school-aged kids (and you!) deserve better portraits that will really capture who they are, at the age they are, and be beautiful enough to make you not want to switch them out every year! 🙂 This is exactly why we’ve decided to hold our first ever back-to-school portrait event. We will photograph 2 different looks/backgrounds, one light/white and one darker/neutral. This will give you 2 completely different looks and also make clothing selection super easy. For the light look, white/cream is perfect (or lighter pastels) and for the darker look, dark clothing looks best (see examples below). Unlike school pictures, you will come back to the studio to see your images and be able to choose from a selection to order the images/sizes that work best for you (the best part–special pricing is available for this event!). Space is limited for these sessions, so please be sure to call today to reserve your spot. Don’t let another year pass by without an extra-ordinary portrait of your child.

This is a great opportunity to raise money for our very own Roseville City School Foundation and get an out-of-the-ordinary sports portrait. The idea for this event was presented to us by our daughter, Reilly, and her friend, Caroline, who are both Freshmen at Roseville High School (both featured on the promo!). For one of their classes they are required to complete a “Global Citizen Project”, where they are to come up with a way to help the community and show others what they believe it means to be a global citizen. The girls came up with the concept and will be working at the event to make sure it runs smoothly.  They will present all donations collected to the Roseville City School Foundation, as both have been part of the Roseville city schools their whole lives.  We hope that you will help support this great cause and get a unique sports/spirit portrait all at the same time! (best image to be chosen by the photographer–trust us–you’ll love it!) Feel free to give us a call or email us with any questions.

It’s that time of year again! We are excited to be partnering with the Placer Food Bank once again to collect non-perishable food items for those in need right here in our own community.  Please share this information with your family and friends so we can make the biggest possible impact and fill the shelves of the food bank!

As a reminder, you will receive one 5×7 print for your minimum 5 can food donation per child (costumes required). No appointment is necessary, but the first 2 hours tend to be busiest, so if you have older children that don’t nap, the afternoon is a great time to come!

To keep the event running as smoothy as possible, we are once again offering online registration forms you can complete prior to the event. Please remember to print out your forms and bring them with you the day of the event. Please complete one form per child/group (if your children are only being photographed together, you will only need one form).  If you choose to add on any prints or digital file options from the event, we will only be accepting cash or checks for this event.  You can register online HERE.

Looking forward to seeing you and all of your little ghouls on Sunday, Oct. 23 between 10-2!

We are so excited to announce our first-ever pet portrait event!! These 15-minute mini sessions will be by appointment only so we make sure we aren’t overrun with too many furry friends all at once, and also to make sure we are able to photograph several different looks for your pet. For a $25 session fee and a donation of a bag of dog or cat food to the Placer SPCA (10-20 lbs please; the SPCA prefers Science Diet for what they feed the shelter animals, but will accept any brand for their local pet food bank), you will receive a 5×7 print of your fur baby, to be chosen at your in-studio private screening/ordering appointment. While these are pet sessions, please come prepared to be in the portrait if necessary to hold your pet (may even just be your hands or feet! :-). If you have more than 1 furry friend, you only need to bring one food bag donation per family, however the $25 session fee will be per/animal, as we will allot more time for more pets. Please call or email us with any questions and/or to reserve your spot today–can’t wait to meet your fur babies!!

We are pleased to announce the return of our Daddy & Me portrait charity event. The background for the event will be a lovely light blue (the same as this year’s Mommy & Me portraits, which would make for an adorable side-by-side!). Feel free to bring children of any age, and why not add in a grandfather or great-grandfather for a generations portrait? We welcome multiple setups for one group; you just will make a separate donation to one of our favorite charities, Child Advocates of Placer County (CASA), for each grouping. As with our other charity events, you will receive a 5×7 print of the best image, chosen by us (those who opt to pre-order a digital image file at the event will choose your favorite image on the spot). The prints will be available for pickup Friday, June 24 and Saturday, June 25 from 12-1pm. If a digital file is purchased, those will be delivered via email by Thursday, June 9. We are excited to be bringing this event back and hope to see you all there!
