Baby L is one of our Bebe members, and he was an unbelievable joy to photograph! He was so good and looks just like a little cherub. We met the Stettlers in kind of an unconventional way, and I love it! Rich is a driver for UPS and filled in for our regular driver for a while last fall. He was at our house every day delivering all of our huge boxes from our lab and realized what these boxes were…photographs. He asked if we were photographers and then if he could have a card, as they just had their first baby. As they say, “the rest if history!” We’re so glad our regular driver was out for a while since it meant we had the privilege of meeting the Stettler family!

We first met the Karavlan’s at our Costumes & Cans event in October and we’re so glad they came back to see us before the holidays. This session was mainly to capture baby J while he was still almost a newborn. Big sis and mom joined in and what a gorgeous family (dad didn’t come that day, but we’ll see him before J’s Bebe year is over, I’m sure!). J was just the most gorgeous baby and so happy, and big sis was quite obliging herself. Can’t wait to see them back in a few months!

Meeting baby R and his family was such a treat, as we got to photograph not only he and his parents, but all of his siblings as well (there were a total of 4 kids between both Lori and Patrick). While he was still technically a “newborn,” his delicious baby rolls said otherwise! It was so neat to see his older sisters (one is 5 and the other two are young adults) dote on their baby brother; he definitely doesn’t lack in the love and affection department!

You might remember baby L from his 1st Bebe session; he had the most amazing hair ever! He’s such a sweet boy but wasn’t particularly thrilled about having his portraits taken this time around (he was woken up from a nap to come, in his defense!). We just loved the cool hat that mom brought for him, and even though he wasn’t dishing the smiles this time, we still thought his portraits were pretty darn awesome! Can’t wait to see him next time around when he’s running!

Baby N was here a while back for his 2nd Bebe session, and big brother A jumped in a few for their Christmas portraits. They were so cute in the holiday outfits and kicked back comfortably in our red chair, but I think our fav’s were definitely the blue “nakies” of N; he was a speedy little dude and had to be wrangled back to his spot several times, but we were able to catch a few of these serene moments that just take my breath away. Thanks to their mom and dad for coming so prepared and being willing to break a sweat to capture these precious moments!

This was the 2nd time we photographed little R, and he was as cute as could be. The Wokas family is just another one of those we felt comfortable around immediately; mom cracked me up with her awesome singing to get great smiles from R (no really, she has a great voice and knew a million songs!). Ann is self-admittedly one of our biggest fans, and we appreciate that so much! Thanks for all the kind words and fun times!

We first met the Monk’s at our Costume & Cans event in 2007, when K was still pregnant with Miss E. Well, E is now a member of our Bebe Collection and these images were from her second Bebe session, which also doubled as a family session. We just love it when they come; Kayla is just one of those people who always makes you smile when you’re with her. Did I mention that she always comes with the BEST clothes and hair accessories for her girls? Well, as you can see from here, this session was no different! You might also recognize little Miss E from our Red Chair-ity promo…she was one of the little darlings on it!

The Primes came for Miss K’s first Bebe session and she performed like a star! We met the Primes thanks to our friends at pediatrician Dr. Valdez’s office right here in Roseville. We especially love these images with mom and dad; I’m sure K is already too big to cradle like that in dad’s arms. The grow up so fast!

This session was our 2nd visit from Miss A, and her mom brings her all the way from San Jose! We love seeing them and are so thankful that they’re happy to make the trip here. A wasn’t quite sitting up on her own, but you’d never know if from these red chair images! She did great! We also attempted capturing her in her darling ladybug Halloween costume, but she was NOT happy about it; luckily they were here in town for our Costumes & Cans event and we got the cutest photograph of her in the costume there! Can’t wait to see her in December for her 9-month portraits!

Miss R. is one of our most recent Bebe Collection graduates. She has always had so much personality, from the very first time we met her. This little girl was always ready for the next milestone, long before her time it seemed. She crawled early, and it seems like she skipped the wobbly walking altogether! She’s such a delightful kid and exudes that in her portraits. Mom and Dad wanted to mark her first birthday with a family portrait, as by her next birthday, she’ll have a baby sister! Congratulations you guys! 🙂
