The Wokas’ are another one of those families that just makes us feel so lucky to get to do this for a living! Little R came for some portraits and we wrangled big brother, E, in for a few as well. It worked out perfectly because these were to be Father’s Day gifts for a few lucky recipients! R was a riot and we couldn’t get over his chunksters! Aside from the adorable kiddos, James found in dad, Matt, someone who could keep up with him in the music trivia department, which doesn’t happen too often. Thanks Ann & Matt for an awesome experience for us! 🙂

Baby J was here a few weeks back for his second Bebe session. We’ve had a ton of these lately, as so many of our Bebe kiddos were all born around the same time! True to form for this age, J was happy as a clam–couldn’t get a bad image of this little dude. I’m thinking that part of why he’s so happy is that he has so many fans; both sets of grandparents accompanied mom & dad to his image presentation appointment, oohing and awing over every image on the screen. How could you not adore this face?

Baby C is another of our Bebe members who just completed his 2nd of 3 first-year sessions. I have to say, the sessions with babies this age (around 7-8 months) are my absolute favorite (that doesn’t mean I don’t love and enjoy all of the others, too! :-). The babies are just so stinkin’ happy to be alive, sitting up, and sometimes crawling around that they just can’t contain their joy! C was no exception, as he just happily agreed with whatever we wanted him to do that day. Thanks for making our job so fun, little man!

Miss R, another one of our Bebe members, might just be a ballerina in training. She’s a petite little thing and moves faster than us old people! She’s so curious and bright, and always on the move. We were all shocked when we were able to perch her on our column without her trying to dive off. It’s funny how even the wiggliest kids will sit still on it; I think they realize it’s a perch and sense that diving off wouldn’t be a good idea (of course mom and I were on each side ready to catch her if she changed her mind!). We’re sure to be running out of breath when she’s back for her one-year portraits, and loving every minute of it!

This little muffin just celebrated her 1st birthday and her graduation from our Bebe Collection. We have come to know her family so well over the past three years, as her older siblings, twins Reese & Jackson, have not only graduated from their own 1st year sessions, but are now well into their Bebe Diplome years! Stay tuned to the blog, as they’re coming to visit next month for their 3-year portraits. We hope mom & dad keep having babies, because they’re darn cute kids and we love seeing this family, who are now just as much friends as they are clients. Thanks to them for giving us the honor of being their family’s photographer/historian!

Meet baby I. This little guy was very relaxed in the studio and couldn’t decide whether he wanted to nap or just lay there looking cute…so we photographed both! Big brother joined in on some of the action and then we topped it off with mom & dad. Don’t they look fabulous?

Usually with babies we experience a variety of moods during a session. Baby D here just had one…HAPPY! This little guy was all about enthusiasm, and was as happy & giggly as could be. Thanks to mom for helping coax these wonderful expressions. And thanks D for giving us such a good time!

This little angel is Miss Ainsley, one of our newest Bebe members. She was just the sweetest thing at her session and gave us so many amazing images, but this by far was our favorite. We liked it so much that James entered it in our local monthly PPA (Professional Photographers of America) print competition last month; this image just happened to win the award for Best of Portrait Category! Thanks MIss A!
Mr. J is another Bebe Collection member and he was all smiles at his last session. He was such a riot and making the funniest faces. We’ve photographed his big brother, A, a few times before, and seeing J was like looking his big bro’s clone–they look exactly alike! That always amazes me, how some people have kids that all look alike, and then there are others (like us), whose kids don’t even look related!

MIss K came for her 1-year portraits and brought along the greatest outfits! (okay, mom brought the great outfits, but they looked fabulous on little K!). This is the 2nd time we’ve photographed K in the past year, and she’s always a bit pensive but then warms up to allow us some great images. Doesn’t she just have the best hair?
