Hi again! Thanks for continuing to check in with us on the blog, even though we’ve been a bit absent of late. Big things happening at the studio (an impending location move is upon us!) that have been keeping us a bit preoccupied lately, along with enjoying this beautiful spring with our clients! We are so fortunate to live in a place that has seasons, but with weather that’s not too crazy, thank goodness! I love that we can photograph in similar locations all year long but get totally different looks, depending on what time of year it is. Springtime brings with it green grasses and beautiful wild flowers (before things dry up and become what we like to call “summer amber”, not “dead” :-). This session with the Schroeder family was one of those perfect spring sessions, and the fact that dad is my (Stef) cousin made it even more special. We’ve been lucky enough to photograph them since they were expecting big brother B (even when they didn’t live locally!). Love the relationship between these siblings and so grateful we get to call the Schroeders family!!
Happy New Year! Now that the holidays are over, we are so excited for our annual Vintage Valentine event. We have added more beautiful wardrobe, accessories and furnishings to our already huge assortment. This year’s look revolves around soft peachy pinks, blush, and our gorgeous new settee and custom canvas background. We also have a selection of adorable vests, bow ties and caps for boys to coordinate (please call to discuss available sizes for boys and girls). As always, our wardrobe selection will include the colors palettes shown from prior years. We will be offering beautiful custom Valentine cards and other newly designed offerings made to showcase your timeless portraits. These sessions will fill quickly, so please call early to reserve your date/time.
It’s my favorite time of year again–that time when Santa visits the Enchanted Images studio!! Once again we are partnering with Northern California Dance Conservatory in hosting visits and portraits with Santa. Not only will you receive a beautiful portrait of your child with Santa, you will also be helping a child in need this Christmas with your donation to our local Toys 4 Tots organization. No appointment is necessary for this event. For a minimum $20 value new toy donation, you will receive a 5×7 portrait. Your prints will be ready for pickup at our studio on Friday, December 19 and Saturday, December 20 between 11am-1pm. If you are unable to pick up your prints at those times, you may choose to have them mailed to you on the event registration form. Digital files purchased will be emailed by Wednesday, December 10. The studio will be closed from Dec. 21-Jan.2, so please be sure to arrange to get your prints on time. To help make the event run as smoothly as possible, we have created an online registration form that you may fill out prior to coming to the event; just don’t forget to print it and bring it! :-). Click HERE to complete your online registration and for further details regarding print and digital add-ons. Can’t wait to witness the wonder of Christmas in your children’s smiles once again!!
We first met the Weygandt family when they were just newlyweds, being photographed with their adorable bulldog for their holiday cards. We have since had the pleasure of photographing them on multiple occasions as we watched their family grow from just their canine babies to their first-born child, Mr. H. We documented his arrival, starting with their maternity session and culminating with his 1-year portraits. He was such an easy newborn to photograph! As H grew, we learned more about his personality, always very much the observer and not quick to give up his adorable smile. When he did, however, he just melted our hearts! Thank you Weygandts for sharing your little man with us!
Meet the Black family. We first met when we photographed Ariahna for her senior portraits a while back (she is standing next to her twin brother). This time the whole gang came along, and since we didn’t photograph her siblings before, they got a little extra attention 🙂 The day was gorgeous and so was this family. A very close knit group, they were a pleasure to capture these moments. Here are some favorites.
Meet the Medeiros family; we had the pleasure of photographing them in Old Sacramento and had such a great time exploring nooks and crannies around the town with the girls. They were so much fun and up for nearly anything (especially Miss R, as we’re pretty sure she had a crush on James :-). Since their session we’ve gotten to know this family even better and feel so blessed to have met them–so genuine and loving!
Each year it breaks our hearts to tell someone that we can’t fit them in for a family portrait session in time for the holidays, so this year we decided to give an early reminder to anyone thinking about scheduling family portraits between now and holiday-time. In other words, do it now! :-). We are already scheduling sessions into November, but it’s definitely not too late. Please give us a call or shoot us an email if you would like to schedule your session or your portrait design consultation (for new clients). The best time for a family portrait is NOW. We are so often reminded of how precious (and often short) these moments of life can be, and what better way to preserve them with beautiful, timeless portraits?
