We first met the Monk’s at our Costume & Cans event in 2007, when K was still pregnant with Miss E. Well, E is now a member of our Bebe Collection and these images were from her second Bebe session, which also doubled as a family session. We just love it when they come; Kayla is just one of those people who always makes you smile when you’re with her. Did I mention that she always comes with the BEST clothes and hair accessories for her girls? Well, as you can see from here, this session was no different! You might also recognize little Miss E from our Red Chair-ity promo…she was one of the little darlings on it!
Another fun family session where the kids were just amazing! They both did great, but little brother was quite the ham. I just love the one of them in the red chair…what a great big sis!
This is Miss R, another one of our Little Angels participants. We first met R 2 years ago, and she was seriously the easiest 2 year old we’ve ever photographed; took direction like a charm. Well, you can see that nothing has changed 2 years later. While she was okay with the whole angel concept, she just lit up when we let her choose a pettiskirt to try on and test out its twirling ability. The best part is that these portraits are a surprise for her dad for Father’s Day; it’s been a tricky procedure for mom to make this all work (and not have Miss R spill the beans!). I think he’ll just melt when he sees them!
We were asked to do some product photography for the Silver Spoon in Granite Bay and had a very short deadline. No time to consult our model list…Reilly got the job.
In fine fashion she lit it up for us and performed wonderfully. Dress a young girl in a fancy dress and a bouquet and sparks fly…unless that girl is Teagan.
As you can see, Miss T was less than photogenic here. Once she saw the ladybugs and moths, that was pretty much it for her.
Oh well, it gave us an opportunity to focus on the star for the evening.
Thanks to Marie Ortman for the help, very much appreciated!

It’s finally here…our new blog! It’s been a big weekend, indeed…James’ 37th birthday was yesterday, so we went with the girls to his favorite place for sushi, Mikuni. He told me all he wanted for his birthday was a sushi boat, even though these things are big enough to feed an army. Considering the size, he made a pretty respectable dent (with some help from Reilly, who has quite the adventurous palette). We topped off the night with a stop at Starbuck’s for a treat. Happy birthday to the best husband and dad in the world! We love you!
A quick note about the new blog…first of all, thanks for visiting! We’re so excited about the new look and the new, super easy to remember web address…www.enchantedblog.com. Our old blog is still online with a link to this one, and so is our regular website (there’s a link on the menu bar at the top of the page). We hope you enjoy the new blog and check back often for new stuff!
Thanks mucho to Melissa Hathaway for the blog designer recommendation, we’re thrilled!
